Bridget's obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Mary Bridget (Benson) Blair on December 16, 2024. Bridget was born on September 15, 1968, and during her short 56 years she touched the lives of many with her kindness, generosity, and unwavering passion.
Bridget Blair was a truly remarkable woman. A beloved wife, mother, sister, daughter, and friend. She surmounted immeasurable obstacles to amass significant success, and cultivated her own definition of what that meant. Despite her personal challenges, Bridget never failed to exhibit a strong determination and an optimistic outlook on life. She was a woman of great resilience and courage.
She was a beloved friend who was always there to lend an ear, a shoulder, or a helping hand. Bridget's nurturing and caring nature will be greatly missed.
She was a warrior. A survivor. She was beautiful and brilliant; caring and kind; strong and soulful; a ray of light that will radiate well beyond her too short years. She meant so much to so many, and will be deeply missed, but never forgotten. Her enduring kindness and empathy will be remembered by everyone who had the good fortune to know her.
As we mourn the loss of a remarkable woman, we also celebrate her life and the joy she brought to many. Her spirit will continue to live on through the memories we hold close to our hearts.
Bridget is survived by her beloved husband, Richard Blair, and her children, Samantha and Ryan McAninch. She lives on not only through them, but through the many lives she has impacted throughout her magnificent life.
We thank everyone for their support and kind words during this difficult time.
