Dear family of Mary Braziel:
I'm so sorry I just learned of Mary's passing. We worked together at Carlson Companies in the Legal Dept. We last conversed on Facebook Messenger on 12-24-21. That's when I found out she had cancer.
I've been thinking about her a lot lately and wondered how she was doing but kept forgetting to contact her.
She came across my mind today so I decided I'd contact her before I forgot again. When I looked at our last conversation & saw how long ago it was, my heart sank. I was prompted to search for an obituary and sadly found it.
I'm so deeply sorry for your loss. I see the anniversary of her death is coming soon. Perhaps that's why I was thinking about her.
We didn't know each other really well, but I remember her beautiful smile as in the picture of her. She was always very friendly & I loved the greeting cards she created.
I pray that you will be comforted by Jesus, Mary and Joseph as you mourn her loss. May you be filled with wonderful memories of time spent with her. I will remember her soul in my daily prayers for the Holy Souls in Purgatory.
I looked at her Facebook profile page and unfortunately several of us posted birthday messages to her months after her death because we weren't aware she passed. I will share her obituary with other Carlson Companies friends.
This was my last message to her:
"So sorry to hear this news Mary! You certainly have suffered these last couple years. You have such strong faith & that will surely help you face what lies ahead. Praying the chemo helps & for hope & strength for you & your family. You are wrapped in the arms of Jesus, Mary & Joseph in a special way this Christmas! ❤️🫂🙏😥🌹💐"
RIP dear sister in Christ Jesus! Eternal rest grant unto Mary Braziel oh Lord and let perpetual light shine upon her. May her soul and all the souls of the faithful departed through the mercy of God rest in peace. Amen!
