It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Mary "Mary Carolyn" Bennett McIntosh, affectionately known as Mary, who left us on August 14, 2025. Born on September 19, 1944, Mary lived a life defined by love, resilience, and commitment to family.

Mary was predeceased by her beloved father, Hill Bennett, and her cherished mother, Mary Bornman Bennett. Her grandparents, Beulah Connell Bennett, Raymond Bennett, Mary Miller Bornman, and John Louis Bornman, as well as her cherished aunts, Montine Bennett, Lucille Bennett Taylor, and Frances Bennett Simmons also preceded her into eternal rest. She was further predeceased by her dear cousins, Rick Simmons III, Sonia Taylor, and Ralph Taylor III.

She leaves behind a legacy of love, surviving her are her devoted daughter, Melissa McIntosh Hodge, and her esteemed son, Rob McIntosh III. Her son-in-law, Kevin Hodge and daughter-in-law, Linda McIntosh, will continue to honor her memory along with her cherished grandchildren, Megan Hodge, Madison Hodge,  McKenzie Hodge, Mitchell Hodge, RJ McIntosh, IV, and Liam McIntosh. Her surviving cousins, Bennett Taylor and Cindy Simmons, will remember her fondly.

Mary was known for her radiant smile and her unwavering commitment to Jesus and those she cared for. Her memory will be cherished by all who knew and loved her. Her strength was formidable, and her love was all-encompassing, touching the lives of everyone she met.

A Memorial service for Mary is to be held on Saturday, August 23, 2025, at 11:00 AM at the First  Baptist Church of McKinney, 1615 W Louisiana St., McKinney, TX 75069, where her life will be celebrated and remembered. The family encourages everyone who knew Mary to share their stories and remember her in their own way.

May the memory of Mary "Mary Carolyn" Bennett McIntosh continue to inspire and guide us. We will forever hold her in our hearts.
