It is with a heavy heart that we announce the passing of Mary Atkins on September 7, 2024. Born on September 23, 1961, Mary lived a life full of love, nurturing, selflessness, and outgoing spirit that touched everyone who had the good fortune of knowing her.

Mary's essence revolved around her fundamental belief, a lesson she shared often: Treat people the way you would want to be treated. Her philosophy was a testament to her character, influencing all her interactions and leaving a lasting impact on those around her. This wisdom carried her throughout her fulfilling career as a social worker, an achievement that she held close to her heart.

Mary is survived by her brother, James Atkins, Tammy Atkins, Melvin Atkins, and Louis Atkins, whose life was enriched by her loving presence. The bond they shared was a precious one, marked by mutual respect, love, and deep-set family values.

Family and friends can come celebrate and remember Mary's remarkable life on September 14, 2024. The celebration will be held at 10:00 am, located at 808 E 224th St.  laughter, and tears in commemoration of her beautiful spirit. The funeral service will be held at,12:00 PM at the 808 E 224th St, Bronx, NY 10466.
