It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Mary Burns, a beloved mother, grandmother and friend, on May 19, 2025. Mary was born on December 9, 1952, and lived her life with grace, compassion, and unwavering faith.

Mary is survived by her children, Tim Burns, Christine Smart, and Tammy Hall. Mary was predeceased by her son, Kenneth Burns, and she held him dear in her heart until her last moments. The joys of Mary’s life were her grandchildren, Heather Hall, Casey Burns, Jennifer Chastain, and Robert Burns, who brought light and love into her world.

Despite her loss, Mary's legacy of love and strength continues to inspire and guide those who were fortunate to know her. Her life was a testament to the power of love, resilience, and faith. She was a symbol of strength for her family and friends and her loss is deeply felt by all who knew her.

A Funeral service in memory of Mary will be held on May 22, 2025, at 2:00 PM at the First Baptist Church of Port Allen. The family welcomes all who wish to join them in celebrating Mary's life and remembering the joy, love, and inspiration she brought into the world.

We take solace in the fact that Mary is now at peace and reunited with her beloved Kenneth. She will forever be remembered and loved by those whose lives she touched.
