Background
For much of her life, Mary suffered with mental health issues without having access or information about treatment. Although awareness has greatly improved over the years, the stigma still remains and resources aren't enough. Funding for programs involved is crucial in increasing awareness and reducing the stigma and discrimination associated with mental illness and seeking treatment.
