I was [ how you felt ] when I heard the news of David's passing.

My family and the Price family were neighbors in the Carey Ave apartments in Butler, N.J. We allways called David, his middle name, by his first name, Marvin, however as I write this I will refer to him as David. David was one year ahead of me in high school but was in the sale class as my brother, Stephen. I have many memories, our Moms making Brintses at the Price’s apt. Playing both stickball and touch football in our yard. Our families going to the Claremont diner for lunch/dinner almost every Sunday. The early morning bowling at the Wayne Country Club. I also have morris of days that weren’t the happiest, David’s Mom losing her alm to Cancer, David’s sister being emotionally hurt by her boyfriend, I know that Janet passed years ago and I wish I knew what caused her passing. Thierry was a day that my youngest daughter woke me early in the morning because the telephone( remember those) operator had a message for me to call Lou, David’s father. When I called he was so happy to talk , he was in tears, we spoke for quite awhile and I told him about my two daughter and more. It was a nice call but we never spoke again.
When I read about David’s passing I was always thinking that he and his family lived in Montville, N.J., for I was a police officer in a town nearby Parsippany. I now live in North Port Florida where I relax and do many cruises about 3-4 a year.
A bit about me, I servered as a z combat Medic during the Vietnam conflict, i was also station in Brazil where my day to day routine was to perspire in the heat and humidity (LOL)
My health is good as is my Brother’s.
RIP MARVIN DAVID PRICE and my sympathy to his family that I never had the honor of meeting.

I remember Marvin/David as my cousin through adoption. My adopted father was Melinda's Mother Cecile's brother. He was always so kind and especially loved children. He and Melinda went out of their way to mentor myself, Abby, and my adopted brother, Andrew (deceased). We spent a summer with them and he took us to see all of the sights of New York and New Jersey. Later, when my own children were very young and we came up from Miami for a visit, he took my son to a Yankees Game. I know he was a lover of the game of baseball because as a podiatrist he took care of several baseball teams feet. I remember him as a very caring kind man.

No words can come close to expressing how it feels when you lose someone you love. So I'll send this with a caring word of friendship, and trust in the comfort of hope and time.
