Background
Floyd participated in the Healing Box Project-guitar for vets with PTSD/ disabilities at the VA in Columbia MO. It is a great program bringing healing to soldiers, one guitar at a time.The Healing Box Project is raising money to purchase guitars and supplies for soldiers to use. Or if you have a guitar around that you don’t use or needs simple repair for the soldiers to play and keep as their own. Its guitar therapy….they say healing begins with the first strum and I know Floyd was helped by getting his mind off his pain and had something he looked forward to each week, When you hurt all the time it helped relieve the stress.
