Just the other morning, I was listening to BBC3 feature a program on pianist Maurizio Pollini. I was delighted to hear the announcer mention and quote a review by Daniel Cariaga. I wanted to share it with Marvellee, I wanted to share in her smile. I live in Scotland so news doesn’t always reach me as it might have when I was in LA. I searched online for a contact where I might message only to arrive here. I want to send my deepest condolences and my regret in not being more present in her life over the years after LA Opera, that is my selfish regret. Marvellee was one of my favorite people. We sang in so many shows together and her soft presence and demeanor, her HUMOR, were a great joy to be around in a business that has nails poking out from its floorboards. Her collegial friendship was precious to me as a young artist. I am heartbroken and send so much love to Luisa. I can only imagine how her loss must be felt by you. Much love.  Stephanie Vlahos
