Background
Senior Concerns held a special place in Marv’s heart. It was a lifeline for the elderly, offering a welcoming environment, enriching activities, and compassionate care. Marv deeply admired how the organization provided not only a safe haven, but also a vibrant space for seniors to enjoy their days. One of its most meaningful programs was the adult daycare for seniors, especially those living with Alzheimer's, which offered them a structured, supportive environment. Additionally, the Meals on Wheels program served as a vital resource for seniors in the Conejo Valley, ensuring that they had access to nutritious meals right at their doorsteps. For Marv, volunteering with Senior Concerns was a way to give back to a community that had given him so much, and it was a cause he carried close to his heart.
