It is with profound sorrow that we announce the passing of Martrece Anderson on January 9, 2026. Martrece was born on December 18, 1956, and throughout her life, she brought joy and love to her family and friends. She will be deeply missed by all whose lives she touched.
Martrece is survived by a large and loving family. Her children, Maurice Wilson and Latisha Wilson, will remember their mother as a guiding light in their lives. Her brother, Jimmy Wilson, brother, Huey Dixon, sister, Alice Donnell alongside her husband, Kenneth Donnell, sister, Diane Lewis and her husband, Thomas Lewis, and brother, Anthony Oliver will all remember their sister's infectious laughter and kind heart.
A beloved grandmother, Martrece will also be deeply missed by her grandchildren, Airielle Wilson, Mariah Henderson, Dorrell Mccloud, Nyla Brooks, Rolil Wilson, Heavenleigh Wilson, Jarvos White Jr, Shannon James Jr, Ashton Woods, Ava Randall, Matthew Randall, Nathan Johnson Jr, Kalani Mccloud, and Airian Maloy. Their fond memories of their grandmother's love and wisdom will remain strong.
Martrece was predeceased by her dear mother, Mary Wilson, her brother, George Wilson, and her sister Lois Wilson. Their memories will live on in the hearts of Martrece's surviving family.
Martrece led a full and vibrant life. In 2011, she found love and companionship in marriage. A true homebody at heart, her favorite pastimes were watching the Jamie Fox TV Show and Saints and Sinners. Martrece also had a sweet tooth, often found playing her favorite game, Candy Crush. She loved being active in simple ways, with walking as one of her preferred methods of exercise.
Gentle in her ways, Martrece adored the tranquility of shades of blue, reflecting the calm and peace she brought to the lives of those who knew her. In her leisure, she loved watching TV and playing games, savoring the joy and laughter these activities brought into her world.
The world seems a little less bright without Martrece, but her spirit lives on in the hearts of those who loved her. Her gentle wisdom, warm heart, and loving spirit will be remembered always.
