Martin was an avid adventurer and had a deep connection to the outdoors. Family adventures like camping, offshore fishing, and boating are remembered fondly by Martin's children and friends alike. Martin also had a strong connection to horsemanship and considered his Rodeo days in Cheyenne Wyoming as an exciting time of his life.
