Marty's obituary
In loving memory of Martin Floyd Mauch, better known as ‘Marty’ to those who knew him. Marty has recently passed away, he died on December 04, 2020. He was born on May 18, 1961. Marty was found to be unresponsive by Paramedics when they arrived at his jobsite that morning. It was later determined by the Medical Examiner and Coroner’s office that Marty’s cause of death was a heart attack. Marty was 59 years old at his passing.
Marty was a native of Southern California, born and raised in the Los Angeles / Hollywood area. He had a happy childhood in the California sunshine, from copper tone baby to Kodak Kid, he liked making people smile, and he had a charisma about him that could steal your heart away. He was friendly, loyal, and kind, dedicated and committed, whether at work or at play. He was one from a rare breed, better known to some as being ‘old school’, he truly was an asset in all his relations.
Marty’s second most favorite passion in life was building and racing his RC cars. It was more than just a hobby, to him it was something he enjoyed and committed himself to for many years. When not working, he could always be found at the track racing. For the last several years of his life, he lived in the Reseda / Canoga Park area, and he worked for Hanson Distributing Company in North Hollywood.
Marty was predeceased by his parents Floyd and Eileen Mauch, and one sibling, Maura Lee Patt (sister). He is survived by Ardis Ibarra (aunt), Gregory Ibarra (cousin), of Studio City, and he also is survived by some nieces, nephews, and cousins who live in South Dakota.
Marty had a heart of gold, and he left a lasting impression in the lives of many who were close to him. He was much loved and will be greatly missed by us all…
Rest in Peace (RIP) Marty. May God bless, comfort, and keep safe, all who are reading this.
