Personal note from Marty's Imitate Family

Marty lived life on his own terms. Known for his drive and determination, he poured his energy into the things that mattered most to him, from athletics and coaching to tending his garden. He left an imprint on many lives, creating moments that will always be remembered.

Though his path through life was not always a simple one, he had a deep love of learning and was endlessly curious about the world around him. A lover of words and ideas, Marty appreciated a good story and a thoughtful debate.

He is survived by his wife, Anna, his children, Elliot, Chris, and Jessica, his granddaughter, Cadence, eight younger siblings, his mother and father, and his stepmother.

May he be remembered for his unique spirit and the life he built in his own way.
