Marty's obituary

Martin "Marty" Flaherty Jr., born on September 22, 1966, passed away on July 9, 2025. Marty, as he was affectionately known, was a very social and likeable man to those around him.

Marty had enjoyed a career serving in the US Navy. His dedication and service were a source of pride for him and his family.

Marty was predeceased by his parents, Martin Flaherty Sr. and Marian Flaherty, and his siblings, Michael Flaherty and John McCaffrey. Their memories were a source of strength and happiness to Marty throughout his life.

He is survived by his son, Jacob Petersen (Rachel) and grandson, Bennett Petersen. He is also survived by his sister, Laura Flaherty.
