Martin "Marty" Flaherty, 82, of Erie, CO passed away peacefully on July 02, 2022, surrounded by his wife, Lilyan, Clancy, and Nala (the dog and cat he loved so much). Marty grew up in Peoria Il, and left to join the Air Force. He worked for the USAF (SAFSP) for 20 years before working for various Aerospace companies (including GD Convair, GDE Systems, BAE, Autometric, and Boeing). Playing the Stock Market was his primary hobby. Marty will be dearly missed and always remembered. Marty was predeceased by his parents (Agnes and Bud) and his two brothers (Art and Terry). He is survived by his wife Lilyan and five “children”; Martin, Trish, Sean, Brian, and Mary. Marty requested a celebration of life be held in his honor as opposed to traditional funeral services. We request all of Marty’s loved one to join us in celebrating his beautiful life in your own way.
