It is with broken hearts we announce the death of Martin Eldon Day at the age of 65 on August 16, 2024. He was born in Head of Jeddore.

Martin ( Bud ) was known for his "larger than life" personality and great sense of humor. He Had a gaggle of friends and was knows as "Bud". He loved going to the Legion and played darts, sitting on the patio, visiting friends and scootering around town.

When Bud was not out on his scooter with his friends he did the simple things like spending quality time with his best friend "Baby" the famous cat he ever so loved and listening to Q104. The love Bud had for his partner Sheila was unconditional he was a strong, brave and stubborn man but most of all the kindest and lovable guy that would give you his shirt off his back.  

Bud is the third of 9 children of the late Calvin and Virginia Day.

He was predeceased by his brothers Ronald, Darren and sister Shelley.

He is survived by his beloved partner Sheila Forbes (Dartmouth N.S) 

Children-Lee-Ann Milne (Dartmouth N.S), Sarah Rupchan (Day) (Dartmouth N.S) and Martin Day Jr (Alberta)

 Siblings- Sandra Murphy (Kentville N.S), Lena Lynch (Alberta), Lorelea Chandler (Kentville N.S), Deborah Day (Dartmouth), Richard Day (Alberta).

Mama Deborah has been a God send these past few years with Bud.

We are blessed to have an amazing friend Kelli Gouey for always being there, we truly appreciate it. 

Bud was a very sociable man and will be miss by many friend and family.
