Martin's obituary

Martin Ray Bonham, 89, of Anderson, Indiana, went to be with the Lord on February 8, 2026.

Born on May 18, 1936, Ray was a proud veteran of the United States Air Force, serving four years in faithful dedication to his country. He was a devoted father, grandfather, and man of unwavering faith.

Ray was a longtime and faithful member of his church. His commitment to the Lord guided his life and the way he cared for his family.

He loved golfing and spent many years enjoying time on the course. He also found joy in working Sudoku puzzles, solving brain teasers, and watching sports. A true sports enthusiast, he especially loved cheering for the Indiana Hoosiers and the Tampa Bay Rays.

He is survived by his two children: Dawndeena Hole; Angela Bonham; his sister June Snurpus; his grandchildren, Miranda (Buford) Carter, Marissa Rider, Donyale Storey, Nathan Rhodes, Hannah (Joshua) Randolph, Caleb Kennedy, Atley (Kyle) Manola, Ericka (Caleb) Gaw, and Ethan Savoldi; his great-grandchildren, Hailey, Bella, Riley, Liliana, Daniel, David Lee, Emersyn, Brianna Zellers, and Jasmyn Short.

He was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Deanna L. Bonham; his daughter, Cheryl Bonham; his son-in-law, Donald Hole; his granddaughter, Megan Rider; his grandson, Donald Hole Jr.; and many brothers and sisters.

Services will be held on February 25th at 12:30 p.m. at Sarasota National Cemetery. Flowers may be sent to A Life Tribute Funeral Care in Largo, Florida (727-559-7793).
