Martha A. Wilkinson

January 20, 1944 - October 4, 2022

Martha Wilkinson, a beloved wife and mother, passed away October 4, 2022.

Martha was a sweet and caring soul, who loved God and her family. She was married to the love of her life, Garvin Wilkinson, for 36 years until he passed in 1999. She was also preceded in death by her brother James Cotton, her mother Ann Cotton and her father Clarence Cotton. She is survived by her children Laura Sullivan, Ronald Wilkinson and Michael Wilkinson, her sister Shari Allen and brother Stan Cotton along with five grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren.

Martha was a stay at home parent who enjoyed family camping trips, sewing, knitting and decorating cakes. Her cake decorating talent delighted wedded couples and family members alike who were excited by her amazing cakes. She could sew and knit beautifully and made many treasured pieces. In her earlier years, she enjoyed spending days shopping with her mother ending of course with stops at Dairy Queen.  

Family was her greatest love.  She adored her sister, brothers and her parents, often telling stories of her childhood growing up with them.   Cherishing her children, she raised them to have the same value of family love.  Martha gave all to her family, cooking for family gatherings, sewing clothes, decorating cakes, and many innumerable projects.  She'd often work all night to ensure that she could give her family whatever they needed or desired.  She was the epitome of love.
