Miss you every single day, mama. I think you would want to know that Daddy also passed recently. If you ever find each other again, please find peace together knowing that I love you both very much and will forever be proud and grateful to be your daughter. I don't want you to worry about me because you raised me to be strong and independent. I wish you were still here but I will be ok even now that you are both gone, promise!

I learned that Martha had passed away today, April 23, 2022. She was a wonderful and very talented lady. I met her when we both volunteered at WHRO. She shared her creative writing with me on many occasions. I so admired her!
