Martha's obituary

Martha Elva Varela, beloved mother, grandmother, sister, and friend, passed away peacefully on April 18th, 2024, at 4:25 a.m.

Martha was a devoted, mother, grandmother to eight children, six daughters, and two sons, and a proud grandmother to 23 grandchildren and 30 great grandchildren.

She was also the cherished sister to four Siblings.

Martha was a remarkable woman who overcame many challenges with grace and determination. As a single mother, she migrated to the United States in 1972 and brought her little ducklings with her completing her family of eight children. She worked tirelessly to provide for them, pouring her

knowledge of cooking, cleaning and appreciating life.

Martha's big heart matchd her big family with 23 grandchildren and growing. She was proud of her legacy, not only does her blood live on, but so do her recipes, everyone putting their own twist to the recipes Martha created.

She put her love into her cooking and shared it with others, this was something she enjoyed doing for her family and friends.

Martha was a special kind of social butterfly she touched the lives of many people and created a home for anyone who needed it, and Encourage others to do the same.

She liked to visit her friends and family every week bringing her excellent dishes and yet she still made time for her faith.

Unfortunately, the visits will stop now that she is gone, but we can dedicate having panecito and cafecito in her honor and pass on the tradition to our loved ones.

Her legacy of hard work, love, and strength will forever inspire those who knew her.
