Mansfield, Texas - Martha Jean Rawlinson passed away on July 2, 2025, in Mansfield, Texas, at the age of 85. Born on December 19, 1939, in Edcouch, Texas, Martha lived a life filled with love, laughter, and deep connections.

On December 14, 1963, she married Ron Rawlinson. Their nearly 62 years of marriage were a testament to enduring love and partnership a bond that was beautiful to witness.

Martha was a devoted mother to Romy Copeland and Tracy Rawlinson. She was also a beloved and funny grandmother to Connor Copeland, Aubrey Copeland, Rylie, and Brooklyn.

Her sister Sarah Pate was not only family but her cherished partner in crime. Martha was also an aunt to many wonderful nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents Frances and Wilburn, her stepfather Edgar, her brother Eddie, and many other dear family members and friends whom she missed deeply.

Known for her warmth and  vivacious spirit, Martha never met a stranger. She was a gifted cook and the life of the party during holidays. Even as Alzheimer's gradually took away many of her abilities, she continued to share love and conversation with those around her.

A celebration of Martha's life will be held on July 26, 2025, at El Primo's Mexican Grill & Cantina in Mansfield, TX, at 2:00 p.m.

Martha's legacy lives on in the hearts of those who knew and loved her. May her memory bring comfort and joy to all who were touched by her presence.
