im sorry for your loss I grew up with Natalie and Martha and belle and Murray in Newburgh. Natalie and I were best friends and she was my maid of honor when I married in 1961. belle was like my second mother. I have such good memories from back then and again to Marthas daughters im so sorry I do remember when Allison was born. I always was in touch with belle until she passed and her and Murray are buried near my mom and dad in Newburgh.
I met Martha after I moved into Park Pointe, back in 2005..we played Mah Jongg together, and then, we became good friends....Martha was like a big sister to me, and I adored her...she had a fabulous sense of humor, spoke to me in Yiddish, which I loved, and she had a kind heart...I was heartbroken when she moved, but I knew that was the best thing for her..Martha was an extremely intelligent woman, and to see her fading away, was devastating....I visited her many times in her new place, and then, we just lost touch....I tried calling her several times but it went to voicemail, and she never returned my calls...I even called Brookdale, and was told she was no longer there, my heart sank, because of privacy laws, the person I spoke to, would not provide any information about what happened to her, so, I just prayed that she was safe, and happy....then, I read her obit, and I cried...I will miss this fabulous lady for the rest of my life...I hope that she's at peace, and may her memory be a blessing to all that knew her...Love you, Martha...xo
We have fond memories of of Aunt Martha and will always remember her for her wonderful sense of humor.
To Candy & Alison & family. My heartfelt condolences to all of you. I have so many memories of Martha, she was absolutely wonderful. She had a heart of gold and I can still hear her calling me Brenda Bean (and your Dad calling me Brenda Bunny.) Memories of them will be etched in my mind forever and I feel privileged that I had them in my life. They are together now in eternal peace. They are and will be very missed. Candy & Alison,  I am so sorry for what you were going through. I love you both dearly.

I am saddened to hear of Martha's passing...she was a wonderful friend, and even though we didn't see one another for a long time, I always thought of her...I will miss her terribly, we had some wonderful times together...May her memory be a blessing to all who knew this terrific, lady..

I’m sorry to hear about dear Martha.  She was very special.  I have so many wonderful memories of Martha.  Your family means so much to me (from your grandparents to my very best friend, Natalie, to you and Candy and Daniele and Heather).  My most sincere condolences to all of you.  I send you love and hugs 🥰,

Lynne

My cousin Martha loved the opportunity to speak Yiddish and she would usually have whoever was around in stitches from what she would say. A side note, whenever I would call her or see her she would always say how are you but how is Brian. She always wanted to know about Brian. I've had so much love for her over the years in my life and I know my mother, Martha loved her so much too as her first cousin. Both Martha's are and will be greatly missed. Love to all of you in the family. 💞💞💞
May her memory be a blessing  . Best Aunt & great aunt  She will be missed
