Martha "Juanita" Shambley Barton 

March 28, 1929 – January 9, 2025

Memorial Service will be held on Sunday, January 26th at 2:00pm at First Love Community Church, 512 US Hwy 70 E. Hillsborough, NC 27278

Following the service, family and friends will gather in the church Fellowship Hall.

Juanita was preceded by her husband, James Malcolm Barton, Sr.,  son,  James Malcom Barton, Jr.,  her mother,  Martha Shambley, her father,  Will Shambley,  her sisters, Josephine Riley,  Denitia Rigsbee, Pauline Hall,  Dolphine Clements , and brothers,  Lindy Shambley, Albert Shambey and ByrdCat Shambley.

Surviving are her sister, Myra Faydene Sorahan, and daughter, Melody P. Barton, 

Grandchildren, Michael Faircloth, David Barton, Nathan Barton, Jessica Augustine, many great grandchildren, and great great grandchildren.

Juanita lived her life dedicated to her Lord, Jesus Christ, and her family. She was born and raised in Orange County, NC, with 5 sisters and 3 brothers.
