Martha Duerfeldt, born on March 17, 1947, peacefully passed away on January 26, 2025. Beloved mother, grandmother, and friend, Martha, touched many lives with her warm spirit and compassionate nature.

Martha is survived by her loving children, Lisa Leach (Richard) and Peter Duerfeldt, and her darling granddaughter, Hannah Leach. She was predeceased by her parents, Robert and Sylvia Lizárraga.

A woman of simple pleasures, Martha enjoyed watching her favorite TV shows which included "Golden Girls," "Reba," "Law & Order," and "Extra." She took delight in solving Hallmark Murder Mysteries and appreciated the nuances of the stories. 

The color green, symbolic of growth and harmony, was a perennial favorite of Martha, reflecting her magnanimous personality.

Martha's character was a harmonious blend of love, generosity, kindness, wit, and stubbornness. She imparted many valuable lessons to her children, but most importantly, she taught them the importance of being helpful and selfless. Her legacy of kindness and generosity will fondly be remembered and continue to inspire everyone who knew her.

As we mourn Martha's passing, we also celebrate a life filled with love, generosity, and indomitable spirit. Her laughter and love will forever echo in our hearts, reminding us of a woman who truly lived and loved.
