Marta Masjoni Simon, M.D. was born June 13, 1960 in Zahedan Iran. From early age, Marta exceled in academics and was in-love with the field of science and medicine. After she graduated from high school, Marta was accepted to the University of Verona, Italy where she studied Medicine and received her medical degree. Marta moved to the United States in the late 1980s and continued her career in medicine.

She founded Kyron Pharma Consulting in 2006. Kyron specializes in Pharmacovigilance, medical safety, and risk management in drug development.

She married Arpad Simon, M.D. in 1995 and had two beautiful daughters Lilla and Nushin. Lilla is in her third year of medical school and Nushin is in her last year of college pursuing a degree in Bachelor of Science in Healthcare Informatics.

Marta was a devoted Bahai and a dedicated wife, mother, daughter, sister, aunt, and friend. Marta’s friends and family describe her as someone who enjoyed life to its fullest and made everyone around her enjoy theirs as well. She showed kindness and compassion to all.
