In Loving Memory of Our Mother 

Marta Elsa Garcia Gil (or Lulu or La Guereja), our beloved mother, passed away peacefully on March 22, 2026 at the age of 77. She was born on November 8, 1948 in the city of Chihuahua, Chihuahua, Mexico. She lived a life filled with love, strength, and devotion to her family.

She is survived by her daughters Sol and Lisa, her siblings Maria Elena, Bertha, and Arturo, who will forever cherish her wisdom, readiness to laugh, and kindness.

Marta Elsa was known for her resilience, compassion, and grace. She practiced loving kindness in her daily life. She found joy in learning about history, spirituality, different cultures, and love of music. She loved to travel. She was a great conversationalist and listener and she touched the lives of everyone who knew her. She was an open-minded and devoted mother and grandmother who will be remembered as a guiding light—someone who brought warmth, comfort, and love into every room she entered.

She will be deeply missed and forever loved. Rest in peace Dearest Mom.
