Marshell Montgomery (née Guichard) was born on April 26, 1961, in New Orleans, Louisiana. She passed away peacefully in her sleep on March 14, 2026, in Henderson, Nevada, at the age of 64, following a long and courageous battle with lung cancer.

Marshell married the love of her life, Glenn Montgomery, in July of 1988. The couple made their home in Henderson, Nevada, where Marshell dedicated herself to her family as a loving housewife. She raised three children: her eldest son, Rashawd, her only daughter Michaelah, and younger son, Hasan. Marshell took great joy in decorating their home, volunteering with her sons’ sports leagues, and spending quality time with her family.

She is survived by her husband of nearly 38 years, Glenn Montgomery; her three children, Rashawd, Michaelah, and Hasan; her three beloved grandchildren, Amiyah, Kehlani, and Kareem; her mother, Alma Polar; her sisters, Wylita and Kim; and her brothers, Terry and Rockmon.

Marshell’s warmth, creativity, and unwavering devotion to her family will be deeply missed by all who knew her. She brought beauty and love into every space she touched and leaves behind cherished memories that will live on in the hearts of her loved ones.

Funeral arrangements are pending and will be shared by the family. 

May she rest in eternal peace.
