Marsha's obituary
With great sadness, the family of Marsha Lynn Yacovetta announces she passed away on November 23rd, 2024, at the age of 73. She’s a native to Denver, Colorado spending all of her life there. She was born to the late Frank Elliot and Marie Elliot on May 21st, 1951. She spent most of her life being a caregiver, giving her great company, which she was complimented on, even after death, to the elderly. Marsha enjoyed cooking and baking. Her favorite things to bake were Pizzelles and Biscotti for the Holiday Season, Cakes, and Cookies. She loved animals and would love any animal she could. She had many animals that belonged to her during her life, even befriending the squirrels at her residences. She will be lovingly remembered and greatly missed by her son Antonio Yacovetta, and her four grandchildren and great-grandchildren: Dominique, Jenell, Nicholas, Frankie, Leland, and Sophia. Marsha leaves behind two siblings who will miss her dearly: her twin brother Rick Elliot, and older sister Sharon Weingart. Marsha was the kind of soul that would make you feel welcomed and loved. She would feed and have good conversations with anyone around her. She could make any holiday feel special and exciting with her cooking skills. Making traditions that her family will hold onto for life. She had a unique and infectious personality, making everyone laugh and comfortable around her. She loved being a grandma and having her great-grandchildren around kept her busy. Marsha was the person you could call; she would listen, never judge, and make you feel better when the conversation was over. She loved her morning black coffee, watching murder she wrote or her soaps, and a good old cigarette. Marsha leaves a hole in everyone’s life that was blessed to have her in. She will be missed every day until we are reunited. To know Marsha, was to love her dearly and entirely.
