Our hearts are all heavy . God doesn’t make mistakes he grants wishes. During my last phone conversation with Marsha she talked about a lot of things. She had already excepted this outcome. She was a strong woman , sister, wife, friend. I meet Marsha years ago when my son (Papa)and her son (Tulley)we’re playing baseball. She had gotten busy and forgot to pick him up from baseball practice. I offered to take him home but he was so disciplined. After two hours and it’s dark sitting in the park (Tulley) finally let me take him home. Not knowing we lived around the corner from each other she allowed me to take him to practice along with my son. She was very protective about her kids. One thing she’d always say don’t mess with my kids. We began to hang out we visited each other weekly. Cooking and planning camping trips with the neighborhood family (Carefree Court) I could go on and on but just know we had so much fun and these memories will always be with me. If you ever got your hair flat ironed from Auntie Marsha you know it was layed.

We weren't blood but that never stopped You from loving and giving me guidance when I needed it. I love you always! I will always carry your Memory in my heart. Rest in Power Auntie!
I'm Marshay's good friend. I've met and hung out with the family a few times. Everytime I got together with Marsha, and Marshay it was a good time. Marsha always kept us laughing and of course kept it real. She always made me feel apart of the fam. R.I.P 🙏

This time last year, Auntie M…

This time last year, Auntie Marsha welcomed myself and my daughter into the Calloway Family with a Family BBQ. She was the first one to call me, so excited to meet us and that I had finally found my way home after 40 years!! She loved her family and was so generous and caring. She had the most colorful personality and an infectious laugh!!! Although I only got 5 years with her, I was blessed to be her niece and have gotten to be a part of her life!!! You’ll definitely be missed Auntie Marsha!!! RIH Angel 😇🙏🏾
God Bless her! When I am saying she took care of of my young cousins when no one could! She did that! She tried to do the best for ALL of them the best what she knew how. She held them together and why they remain together today.
I never met Marsha personally, but I know her daughter Marshay from UCLA as we went to school and worked in the Community Programs Office together. Marshay is a strong, passionate and God-fearing woman. She is living proof of God's faithfulness to care for and bless those who are committed to Him. I firmly believe that God strategically places children with their mothers. It is evident from the amazing person Marshay is that her mother taught her many things about life and loving her children. May God bless the family and comfort everyone. Sending my love.
