Some days I just wish I could call you for advice. Wishing you a heavenly birthday Ma.

No pain or sadness today. The world reminded me it was a year ago but you are still very present in my heart, Ma.

Today, I was prompted to share her acts of kindness. When I think of Ma, I think of the love she shared. It’s how she made you feel. It was her impact. It was the willingness to be an ear. She would believe with you, pray with you and understand you. That’s how I define how to live a successful life with Jesus. She was it! 

I am so very sorry for your loss.  Marquetta was such a beautiful person. I worked with her at JOAK and really enjoyed our time together.  My heart is broken for your family.  May she rest in peace.

I am so sorry for your loss of your mother, mother in law, grandmother and friend.  Marquetta was a wonderful person, and I will miss her forever!  I worked with Marquetta at JOAK, in fact she interviewed me for the job and we became instant friends.  She was an easy person to like/love!  I think at times we had way to much fun at work.  I never heard a bad wood about Marquetta, everyone loved her.  When we talked on the phone we laughed so much my husband enjoyed the conversations and he couldn't hear the other side.  Marquetta and I shared the same birth date, so we had fun celebrating it at work.  She told me so much about her family I felt like I knew you.  I tried so hard to keep in touch with her, I didn't know she was that sick.  I hope all your hearts heal, always remember how lucky and loved your were by Marquetta.  Take care!
