Marlene was truly an inspirational woman. When I was a young girl she asked me if I wanted to help make costumes and headwear for the Cub scouts. It was my first time using a sewing machine. She also was one of the first neighbors that let me cut her hair way before I became a hairstylist. She took the time to share her love of our Lord and the bible with quite a few of my family members, that changed our lives for the better. Marlene was loved by the Schwappach family.
Laura, Brian, Alex and Andrew, our condolences to you in the loss of Marlene. Her life sounds like one well lived. So nice that you were there for her when she needed you Laura and that you had that special time with her.
Dear Dan, Karen and Laura,
Kent and I offer our sympathy on the loss of your mother. Your account of your mom’s life shows your deep affection for her – and the love she held, especially for young people. Paying tribute to her carers is also a wonderful tribute to her. When you hold the celebration of her life I’ll be there in spirit to support you. I’m posting a photo of your mom and Uncle Richard when they married. Both have left a sterling legacy…children, grandchildren, great grandchildren. A good life.

To the entire Plummer family, Steve and I would like to extend our deepest sympathy. We have had the pleasure of knowing your mom most of our lives. She will be missed. She was very special, unique and extremely witty. We have wonderful memories of days spent in her company. She is in the company of angels, and heaven just got a little bit more interesting!

Dear Laura, I am so sorry for your loss. She sounds like quite an amazing woman. It seems the apple doesn’t fall far from the tree. Many condolences.
Laura. We never had the privilege of meeting your mother. But she raised an awesome daughter. Cindy and I send love and hugs to you Brian and the boys.
Dear Plummer Family,
Our heartfelt sympathies go out to all of you during this difficult time. Each of you took great care of Marlene and enriched her life.
Love and Prayers to each of you,

Bill and Gloria Griesbach
