Ms Pell was so much more than she knew. She was spiritual, nurturing, kind, and the damn hardest worker I've ever met. She loved her girls more than the world. I'm a fellow single mom. Nurse. She was my work bestie. Fellow dog lover. She showed me divorce isn't the end of the world. She was upbeat, encouraging, loyal, and funny as hell. She helped me get a job at cigna to stay home with my kids...who loved her. I wish I made time to grab a last mimosa at waffle Inc on a sat am. My first reaction was tears, then anger. How!?! But Marlene was a child of God and I know she's ok. I'll always miss and love you . Prayers for your girls and new grand baby.

I'm so sorry to hear of Marlene 's passing. She was a super sweet friend I grew up with, friends of my sister, Laura. Weenie once walked probably a mile to a boys house, that I had a crush on, just to hype me up to him. She was a great friend. Fond memories of the swimming pool and hanging out. Prayers for her family. 🙏🏼 ❤️🙏🏼❤️

I am so very sad. Marlene and I were good friends throughout elementary and junior high and then saw each other sporadically after that. I loved seeing family pictures but have missed seeing her on Facebook. I am so very sorry for the family’s loss. She was one of my favorite friends.

She was the greatest and warmest of human beings. We had great respect for one another as brother and sister. We never fought and were always glad to see each other. I will miss her every day.
My heart goes out to all that love her :)

I am so sorry to hear of Marlene’s passing. I am her older cousin and remember when she woke me up as a baby when they came to visit, crawling over top of me… and as an energetic teenager at my cousin Stan’s wedding… and then how proud I was of her being and RN like me…. And the fun we had at my cousin Tom’s wedding. She sparkled when she spoke…. What a sweet soul. Sending hugs and prayers to all of you.

I cannot even begin to say how much I will miss this precious soul! It is just amazing how you can get to know and love someone so much that you have never met in person. She has been my work girl for about 4 years and she made all the difference as I sat at this desk. We talked and text about life, kids, dogs and then finally grandchildren! To her girls- your mother was obsessed with you 3. She loved you and talked about you all the time. I was so blessed to hear all the stories she had about you guys. I want you to know that you were her world. Then after Carson came she obsessed over him as well. I had a granddaughter right after Zoe and we told everyone our grands were going to have an arranged marriage. She was funny, kind, hardworking and so loving to everyone. Our daily conversations will be cherished just as she was. The last scripture she shared with me in Sept was Prob 3:1-10. I am so thankful that she knew the Lord as her savior and friend. Marlene this is not goodbye- just see you a little later my dear friend!
