Mark Randall Thomas

Mark Randall Thomas, 55, of Little Rock, passed away July 19, 2023.  He was born August 17, 1967 in San Diego, California to Edgar Eugene and Carol Ann (Bell) Thomas

Mark was an excellent chef. He learned the art of cooking when he worked at Kelly’s Bistro in Little Rock.  Most nights, you could find Mark sitting at the bar sharing his sharp since of humor and dry wit. If you needed him, he would sit and listen with great empathy and understanding and often had great insight and advice.

Mark was an animal lover at heart and when he was a boy he was always bringing home injured or stray dog and cats. He would stop in the middle of the road, stop oncoming traffic, to help a turtle make it across the street safely.

Mark enjoyed  writing poetry, sketching and strumming on the guitar.

He loved history and you would often find him immersed in the history channel.

Preceding Mark in death is his mother, Carol Ann Thomas and his brother Michael Wayne Thomas.

He leaves behind to cherish his memory his father, Edgar Eugene "Gene" Thomas and wife Becky of Georgia; sister, Susanna Patterson and husband Steven of Benton, Arkansas; nieces and nephews:  Joshua Thomas and wife Crystal, Ashley Finkbeiner and husband Christian and Kristen Patterson and Partner Joshua Broughton; uncle, William "Bill" Thomas of Texas; and many family members and friends who love Mark and will miss him always.
