Mark's obituary

Mark Swilor Snarr

February 26th, 1957 - August 24th, 2023

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Mark Snarr, who was born on February 26, 1957, to Wanda Marie Snarr (Swilor) and Lowell Dean Snarr and passed away on August 24, 2023.

Mark was a passionate man known for his kind and caring nature. His love for his family was undeniable, always expressing his care and affection to those closest to him. Mark was a helpful soul, always lending a hand where necessary.

He was a lover of nature and cherished the simple pleasures of being outdoors. An avid fisherman, Mark was often found by the river, fishing rod in hand, enjoying the serene silence of the natural world around him. He also had a love for raising horses and spent many hours tending to these magnificent creatures. Mark had a unique passion for fermenting moonshine, a hobby that brought him great joy and satisfaction.

Mark was not only a person of many interests but also a man of many virtues. His personality was best described as passionate, kind, loving, caring, and helpful. He was a skilled mason who dedicated his life towards honing his craft. His legacy is mirrored through his commitment to hard work, dedication, kindness, and skilled masonry.

Mark is survived by his children, Issac, Bobbie, Zach, Cassea Snarr, and Robby Mckendrick. His grandchildren, Tayler, Tayson, Tristen, Gauge, Nevada, and his great-grandchildren Porter and Brooks were the joy of his life. His siblings, Mike, Steve, Susan, Joanne, and Kay, also survive him.

Mark was predeceased by his parents, Wanda Marie Snarr (Swilor) and Lowell Dean Snarr, whom he constantly remembered with fondness and respect.

Mark's love for his family, dedication to his passions, and kind-hearted nature leave a legacy of love, hard work, and kindness that will be cherished and remembered. As we mourn the passing of a remarkable man, we celebrate the fruitful life he lived and the memories he has left in our hearts.

Though our hearts ache, knowing we won't be able to see him again, we know we can always find him in the smell of the horses, the mountains, and the fresh breeze near a river or lake.

“Lo, there do I see my father. Lo, there do I see my mother, and my sisters, and my brothers. Lo, there do I see the line of my people; back to the beginning, Lo, they do call to me. They bid me take my place among them, In the halls of Valhalla, Where the brave may live forever!”

To honor Mark's wishes, there will be no funeral or memorial service. We invite you to please privately celebrate Mark's memory in your own ways. We know that he will be with us all in spirit. Thank you for your understanding during this difficult time.
