Mark's obituary

Mark Pieper., age 71 of Edina MN passed away Wednesday April 6th 2022. He will be remembered always as a loving husband, father and brother. He was the

kindest man who would always put others before himself. He was always willing to help those in need.

Mark attended “THE” Ohio State University where he played football and hockey. If you know Mark you know how much he loved Ohio state and always said it is where God graduated from. Following Ohio State, Mark owned and operated Mega Excavation for over 40-years. He was an extremely hard working man who loved a challenge. He enjoyed having his son by his side helping him with snow plowing and landscaping jobs.

In 1992, Mark married his loving wife Liz and had two kids Duke and Jackie. Mark was very involved in his kids sporting events and loved cheering them on. He never missed a hockey game of either of his kids. He was always so proud of both of them and all their accomplishments. Even though his daughter decided to play hockey for the Gophers instead of Ohio state. He had a hard time cheering against Ohio state when they played against each other. Mark and family also had three dogs Pepsi (Marks Favorite), Sprite, and Crosby. We know Pepsi and Mark are up in heaven reunited again.

A visitation and funeral services will be held on Friday, April 22nd at Mount Olivet Church — 5025 Knox Ave. S., Mpls., MN (612-926-7651). The visitation will start at Noon

and the service will be at 1pm. Following the service please join the family for a reception in Mark’s honor.

Mark will be forever missed, but we know that he is looking down at all of us and we cant wait to reunite with him one day.
