Mark's obituary

Mark Allen Patton

October 28, 1963 – April 1, 2026

Mark Patton, 62, of Belleville, Michigan passed away at Trinity Health Ann Arbor following a sudden and unexpected health crisis.

Mark attended primary and secondary schools in the Ann Arbor/Ypsilanti area and enlisted in the Navy following graduation. He was stationed in Long Beach, California, where he lived for eight years before returning to Ann Arbor. He worked in the logistics industry for more than 30 years.

Mark enjoyed playing golf and was a devoted fan of University of Michigan sports. Anyone who knew Mark knows he had a funny sense of humor and an adventurous spirit. The musical backdrop of his life was heavily influenced by Motown and all 70’s R&B.

He is survived by his daughter, DeLanie Parson; his sister, Kelly (Brad) Allen; his brother, Cody (Grace) Patton; his nephews, Braden Allen and Levi Patton; and his stepmother, Sue Patton. He was preceded in death by his father, Walter “Bud” Patton, and his mother, Maryann Koebbe.

The family would like to extend their heartfelt thanks to Mark’s close friend, Nakia Coles, for her care and support during this difficult time.

Mark’s remains will be scattered in the Gulf of Mexico, alongside his mother. No services are planned at this time.

We know Mark is at peace now, celebrating the reunion with his best friend, cousin and golf partner, Randy.
