Mark's obituary

With heartfelt sorrow, we announce the peaceful passing of Mark North on November 19, 2024. Born on December 10, 1956, Mark lived a vibrant life characterized by vivacity, humor, and unyielding passion.

Mark is fondly remembered by his loving son, Philip North; his cherished daughter-in-law, Krystal North; his caring siblings, Susan Peebles, Vicki North, and Steve North. He is preceded in death by his esteemed parents, Herbert and Ann North, and his beloved sister, Carlene Dickson.

Distinct in his tastes, Mark found joy in music on long car rides with his son, Philip. "Philadelphia Freedom" by Elton John, "Unstoppable" by Sia, "Beautiful Things" by Benson Boone, and "Pink Pony Club" by Chappell Roan were on a heavy rotation to sing as karaoke in the car. He was an avid viewer of the TV shows "Will Trent", "Bananza", and "Suits", finding comfort in the predictability of their narratives and a small dog named "Betty". He even named a horse after Betty! His passion for films knew no bounds, as long as Jason Statham was in them.

A man of routine, Mark savored ice cream after every dinner and was known to enjoy an Arnold Palmer like no other. A loyal fan of The Arizona Diamondbacks, Mark found solace in the camaraderie and spirit of sports. He spent much of his leisure time hanging out with his horses, finding a tranquil companionship in their quiet understanding. The Hanger Cafe was a local favorite often frequented by Mark for both its atmosphere and entertaining staff that he quickly became friends with.

Mark's convictions resonated in his teachings. He fervently believed that a sincere "I Apologize" held more value than a casual "Sorry". His passionate, loud, and humorous demeanor will be significantly missed by his horses, loved ones, and friends.

To honor Mark's life, rather than sending flowers, we invite you to contribute to "The v Foundation" through the following link: https://everloved.com/life-of…. Let us remember Mark for the person he was, celebrate his life, and share the love he undoubtedly had for us all. Rest in peace, Mark. Your memory will forever be cherished.
