It has been two years since we lost you brother Mark.  I think of you often.  It was especially hard last night as I watched your alma mater Notre Dame lose in its national championship bid.  But like you, they gave it their all!  Miss you little brother.  Love John

It has been a year since we lost you brother Mark. I think of you often remembering the many wonderful memories I have from you. I’m comforted knowing that you are with mom, dad and your sister Nona who left us so many years ago. Miss you very much. Love, John

 I am so sorry to hear about Mark. I’m really glad we were able to see and catch up with him at the wedding; sharing some laughs and talking about how fast time flies watching our kids grow up. Ya’ll will be in my thoughts and prayers. I pray Gods peace will be with the entire Murphy family at this time.

Mark, who my roommate, fraternity brother and close friend of mine Joseph Murphy has told me about, raised such a genuine, caring and intelligent son. I know by the way Joseph carry’s himself, along with the relationship that Joseph and I have established, that his father couldn’t have been short of the same type of man Joseph embodies. Rest in heaven, Mark Murphy.
