I am so sorry for your loss :( my ex also has bipolar and I once received a call from police that they could not find him. He had driven off after an argument, abandoned his car, wallet, and keys, having hiked up a nearby fire tower planning to hurl himself off. He made it home that might, but became so violent in subsequent mos. That I fled with our kids. He divorced me for that and tried to take our kids and ruin me. But, we all survived. He now has a new wife and child and is medicated. We are happy for 11 years with a wonderful man. We all survived. Bipolar is a ravishing thing and I am truly sorry. I understand the fears, frustrations, and feelings of hopelessness. I saw your story on Facebook. Reach out anytime. I am always here to listen.-Marcia Roberts, m_rbrts@hotmail.com
