I absolutely loved Mark. Since his passing I have always put up an altar for Dia de Los Muertos, here in Mexico where I now live. This year I couldn't find the photo, so I searched the web and found him here. I am so happy because he can't come visit if I don't have his photo up.
I wanted to recall one of our first trips together after he was hires. We went on a call together, and he commented on how I was dressed very casually (in his opinion). I told him that I was meeting with several women and having to answer all their technical concerns to guarantee our success. Long and fun story shortened, we won the account and one of the comments the customer made was that the customers felt I really understood them and didn't come to the meeting all dress in a fancy suit and overly made up. They saw me as one of them.
Mark conceded, he may have underestimated the importance of the audience connecting with you.
Gosh I loved Mark. I miss him so so much!!

Its been 3 long years and I miss Mark each and every day. I cannot thank him enough for the love and support he gave me and my family throughout my life. He was truly my rock, so much so I never even considered we would ever be apart. I know we will meet again one day...

My husband Ron Glaze and I were very close friends with Mark. Over the years we may have shared 20 or more vacations. The last was in Oct. 2019 when we met in Milan, right before Covid. We rented a car and explored northern Italy. He loved to drive which was fine with us. His sense of humor was the best and he was always up for an adventure. We had breakfast with him in Los Gatos 2 weeks before he passed. It was a sunny day, we shared lots of laughs, he was fine so it was a shock to get the call from his sister, Susan, telling us he was gone. We think of him all the time. ❤️ We miss him.

It’s been over a year since Mark’s memorial at Vahl’s but I think of him frequently. Mark and I worked together at Cadence for many years. He was my closest confidant and friend. We traveled together for work and holiday visiting New York, Cuba, Costa Rica, Miami to name a few. Vahl’s is the best bar in the Bay Area by far - thank you Mark for introducing me. I took my 28 year old son there a couple of weeks ago to pass on the legacy of these experiences. Love you Mark.

Very sorry to learn of Mark's passing ... it was much to soon. Mark and I worked together for a number of years starting in 1998 and when in town Mark would often drag me out to Vahl's. At first blush I wasn't really all that impressed but I have to say that over the years we certainly had a lot of fun there together. I live in NE Canada and hadn't seen Mark since 2016 but had been planning a visit with my wife prior to Covid and that of course didn't happen. Mark was very generous and warm hearted person. Very sad to hear of his passing. With my deepest sympathy. RIP my friend. Dan
