Mark and I were roommates while working in Southern California. While there were 4 others living in our house Mark was the one that kept everyone on track. His love for motorcycles wore off on me and he helped me buy my first motorcycle. Even though we had different tastes in motorcycles, if it had two wheels and an engine Mark was a fan. We made many rides from Palmdale-Lancaster down to the sunny beaches and cruised everywhere. We made many adventure to restaurants in Los Angeles and down to Mexico with his son Ryan where we stopped at Puerto Nuevo to have lobster burritos. He was such a caring person that he even made my wife a promise that he would select a helmet that would keep me safe in case I ever needed it. At the end our stay in California Mark and I made an epic motorcycle ride from Palmdale-Lancaster to Seattle making many memorable stops along the way. Including coming through Castroville in fog that was so thick that seeing 10 feet in front of us was almost impossible. If you can imagine Mark on his Harley and my on my Ninja racing across the Bay bridge at 1:00AM in the morning to get to our hotel. I will never forget that ride and still tell stories today about the great adventure. I will miss Mark and his caring and compassionate nature along with a great sense of humor.
