Mark's obituary

It is with deep sorrow that we announce the unexpected passing of Mark W. Hutchinson on May 27, 2022 at the age of 58. He was born December 29, 1963 in Ashland, Kentucky to the late Clifford and Betty Sue Hutchinson. Mark lived in Marysville, Michigan at the time of his passing and leaves to mourn many family members and friends.

Mark was predeceased by his father, Clifford Hutchinson, his mother, Betty Sue Hutchinson, and his older brother, Kennith Hutchinson. He is survived by his son, Tyler (Katerina), Hutchinson; his sister, Dianna Hutchinson; his brother, John Hutchinson; and Robin Hutchinson, mother of his beloved son, mother of his cherished “niece,” Mia Frontiero, and devoted friend of 31 years. He also leaves behind many family members and friends from throughout his life and from all over the country.

Mark graduated from Boyd County High School in 1982. He served his country in the U.S. Marine Corps., following in the footsteps of his brother, Kennith, and sister, Dianna. Mark was so intelligent, motivated, and respected that he managed one of the largest convenience stores in Kansas City, Missouri while he was still in his mid-20’s.

Mark married Robin Paciorek on November 30, 1991 in Kentucky. He relocated to Michigan in 1991 to be with her. They had one son together, Tyler James Hutchinson, born in 1995. Mark and Robin remained very close friends for the rest of Mark's life. Mark also became “Uncle Mark” to Robin’s daughter, Mia Rosa Frontiero, born in 2002.

Mark had a lifelong dream of writing a book. His dream became a reality when he self-published “Different Simple People: Volume 1,” on November 22, 2019. His name as the author is listed as “Mr. Mark Wayne Hutchinson.” The paperback is available through Amazon.com (ISBN-10: ‎ 1700735225, ISBN-13: ‎ 978-1700735225). At the time of his passing, Mark and Robin were working on edits for the release of a revised edition.

Mark was an avid reader and owned hundreds of books. Mark loved debating politics, listening to Frank Sinatra, Bob Dylan, etc., and watching movies.

Mark truly enjoyed the job he had at the time of his passing. He worked for St. Clair County Community Mental Health as a Computer Relations Specialist and also taught writing there.

Plans are incomplete at this time for a service to be held in Kentucky next month, July 2022.
