I have worked with Mark for several years at Essentia and one of my favorite parts of work has always been the FASD clinic, which Mark was part of with me. It is an eclectic mix of co-workers and the mix of personalities makes it one of the highlights of my job. Mark has also made a major impact on me professionally and I will be forever thankful for the part he played in my life. He was a kind man, always willing to listen, he was incredibly funny, and has made such an impact on our entire community. I am truly so sorry for your family’s loss.

I was blessed to work with Mark at HDC. A dear friend here in Virginia recalls him as a very compassionate helper to kids in the guardian ad litem programs. I have fond memories of him. Condolences to his family.

My condolences to Mark's family and loved ones. He was a kind and resourceful colleague at HDC and a truly talented psychologist. His psychological assessment reports--of which he must have written thousands--are individualized, informative, and useful. He helped countless families in the Twin Ports in his work. A sad loss.

I worked with Mark many years ago at AJC and was impressed by his skills and his down to earth nature.  I am sorry for his family.
One afternoon the giant ash just fell with a huge “crack”, right across all of Molly’s backyard. It seemed like Mark was there within a matter of minutes. He had a blast working with his daughter, son- in-law and neighbor ( my husband Kevin)  to process that giant tree (see pics, I’m not very good at tech!).  It was a fun time seeing them all go at it, with Marks energy and focus and a great team it felt like it took no time at all. Man, he is already so missed. Deepest Condolences to all. -Beth

We are so so sorry to hear about Mark’s passing. It’s a terrible tragic accident and he loved the BWCA so much. You’re all in our hearts and thoughts. -The Kinney family
