I had become close to my Mark over the past few years.Being cousins, we spent lots of time together,& had lots of family memories. He is the only person I would let call me by my nickname from childhood. We had lots of talks, and I miss him dearly.,Always.MJ
Mark and I became friends in the 80's as we were in the same social circle. There were times when we wouldn't see each other for a long period of time, but when we did he always had a big smile along with a hug and a kiss. This went on for years. I connected with him on face book after he moved down south and our friendship flourished.
During my cancer he was my biggest supporter, checking in on a daily basis. On my chemo days i would bring my laptop and he stayed with me during my treatments! He would keep telling me to "Slay the fucken dragon". those words stayed with me, and so did he. After my last treatment a shirt arrived in the mail that read....."I slayed the dragon, Don't Fuk with me!
I wish I could have done something to save him.......I will always love him, he forever has a place in my heart!

I didn’t know Mark as a man, but I remember playing with him and his sisters in the summer. He was always laughing and loved to fish and swim in the ocean. Always, Cousins!
Love, Laurie
