Mark's obituary
Wildwood, MO – Mark G. Naes, 67, husband, father, grandfather, brother, brother-in-law, uncle, cousin, and friend to many, fortified with the Sacraments of Holy Mother Church, succumbed on March 16, 2024, to cancer that he had bravely battled for 5 years.
Mark and Sharon were married on October 1, 1983. They raised two beautiful children, Andrew (39), Kara (37). He was preceded in death by his parents, Sylvan and Mildred Naes.
Mark is survived by his wife of 40 years, Sharon Bromley Naes, son Andrew and daughter Kara (Tom) Richlak, grandchildren Beckham (4) and Lucas (2) Richlak, sisters Janet (Daniel) Pfleger, Christine Joshi, Valerie (Joseph) Krygiel, and brother Donald (Carla) Naes.
Mark retired from the Ford Motor Company and dedicated his time to his family, home, church and community. He deeply loved his wife and children. One of his greatest joys was being with his grandsons. He had a big heart and a profound sense of humor. Mark was always fun to be around. He also had a terrific work ethic and many talents. He was always willing to help anyone who needed or wanted his help. He was upbeat, optimistic and loving. He enjoyed visiting the beach with his family on many vacations. He spent happy hours driving his 1975 Corvette Stingray and always kept it in pristine condition. He loved watching the Blues, Cardinals, and Buccaneers, swimming in his pool, and visiting family and friends. Mark will be sorely missed by all.
