Marky-boy was unreal smart and funny. Had a perfect blend of making peoe feel good about themselves and contempt for those who validated themselves by pointing out other's class.I don't know how much fun and interesting my 20's and 30's without his friendship  He was my best pal so I hope u all understand when I say ""He ha. Your dead and I'm not. You owe me $20. Wanna double down? Another$20 says people will remember you 50 years longer than me? Victory will ymine. You gotta like that.!
Bob and I hitch hiked from Minnesota to Mark's house when I was 18. It was 20 below when we stuck out our thumbs. We showed up in Phoenix with Sorel boots and winter coats. Mark housed us, fed us, and showed us silver smithing. Our first sale of this rough jewelry was 10 baby bracelets. Mark convinced the guy to buy 5 of them even though they would probably carve up the poor babies wrist! I will always remember your heart.
Mark was brilliant, and damn near impossible to beat at any card game. He could shoot a beer in nano seconds, do two hits to your one. He could pitch a wicked curve and tell a big f..ing tale like no one else. I have nothing but love and gratitude for you. Goodbye Mauk, Snark, Marcos, Mark.
Love Paul, your cousin and dear friend
Sigh...I was really hoping it wouldn't end this way. I mean, of all of us cousins, he had it all...handsome looks, charismatic personality, and an overactive fun gene! Remember that time when we were all walking down a farm road by Gramma & Grampa's house on Smith Lake, and Mark convinced us that the devil was watching us from behind the trees? I was terrified for a long time, but perhaps Mark saw something that the rest of us missed. He is gone now and I wish for him the eternal peace he never seemed to enjoy in life. Or at least that he and Michelle have made up and are planning the trip of their lives with their Dad and G&G! We've missed you for a long time, Mark, and will love you always. Rest now...and be an angel for your Mom, Tom, and Donna. Janet & Pablo

Many prayers for Tom C. & family. Successfully grieving a loved one is worth it. The first five years are the toughest. The end result is peace, love, harmony, and patience.
Mark and I were friends from the day I was born 59 years ago. I am so sad with the loss of my friend but joyful he is looking down from above and free from the pain. Mark was one of a kind, he was a leader, a mentor but most of all a friend that cared about me. This is over a 59 year relationship and few can say that. Mark will always be in my heart and I will forever be blessed with Mark as a friend and more importantly a brother. I love you Mark !!

I would first like to send my prayers to Ginny, Tom and rest of the Corbett family. I met Mark in 1971/1972 we worked together in a pet shop in Phoenix. Mark became my first friend I had after moving to Phoenix to go to college. Through the years our friendship became close. I remember several times how Mark was able to help me out when I needed a place to stay. He was always willing to give a hand as needed. I was a manager at a restaurant in 1979 and hired Mark as a bartender. Mark was a natural working in the restaurant business and went on to owning his own restaurant.
We went on several vacations together, always full of crazy and fun times. We took a road trip up to Idaho to visit Tom who was in the USAF and the time. There was also the famous Super Bowl House boating trip at Lake Powell.
I moved to New Mexico 3 years ago and did not keep in touch with Mark. I do remember a phone call when I called Mark to wish him a Happy Birthday; our birthdays were only a few days apart. We laughed as we remembered all of the fun and crazy times we had.
Having had struggled with my own addiction’s, Mark I know you’re at peace now. Love you Tim
