Mark's obituary
Mark Jackson, of Defiance, MO, passed away at home on September 12, 2023, at the age of 66. He was born on March 16, 1957, the son of the late Joseph and Geraldine Jackson. Growing up in Webster Groves, where he met lifelong and cherished friends, Mark attended Holy Redeemer Grade School and St. John Vianney High School.
A 1979 graduate of Saint Louis University, Mark moved on to a lifelong career in the automotive industry, and this career led him to time spent living in Wisconsin, Michigan, and Germany, where he formed decades-long friendships. Mark spent many years coaching his children's sports teams, and when not coaching, was the most passionate fan in the bleachers. Mark enjoyed traveling with his wife and children, hanging out by the pool, and entertaining friends and family at his home. He was a loyal friend, a beloved father, and a devoted husband.
Adored husband of Karen (Ryan) Jackson; loving father of Lauren Jackson, Kelsey Cheng (Kenny), and Ryan Jackson (Kim); dear son of the late Joseph and Geraldine (Drochter) Jackson; cherished brother of Richard Jackson, Janice Sheble, Patricia Huhmann (Douglas), Christine Jackson, and Daniel Jackson (Monica).
