Ms Silvera AKA Aunt Margie was the best friend of my mother, Eldora Whidby Reaves. She came to Virginia to say her final farewell to Mom and support her girls. That is what she lovingly called my sisters and I. (Lenor, Linda, Gloria and Francine). We were so glad to see her. She and I exchanged Christmas cards for many years and talked on the phone from time to time. Ms. Silvera was a true friend to my mother. What a jewel. She will always remain in our hearts.

Bingo you’re Mother is so deeply connected to so many of the fond memories that I have growing up in the church. She was gracious, and kind. Giving her a kiss on the cheek when I was there was a meaningful and warm ritual. After I left New Jersey she would often ask my Mother how I was doing. Her beautiful presence will be missed.
