Margie's obituary

Loving mom, Marjorie "Margie" Lusky of Spring Hill, TN passed away on November 22, 2022 after a battle with pneumonia followed by multiple complications. Margie was 72 years young.

Margie, was born to Ernest and Evelyn Lunsford on January 25, 1950 in Nashville, Tennessee. She grew up attending  Calvary United Methodist Church in Nashville. She was an active member of the Methodist Youth Fellowship at the church. She graduated from Hillsboro High School in 1969. She enjoyed attending her weekly online Bible studies with her closest friends and people from around the world. She also enjoyed attending online services at The Bridge and Lakepointe Church.

After graduation, Margie used her talents to create and design kitchens around Nashville. She later went on to become a real estate agent. In 1986, she went to work as a teaching assistant at Lipscomb Elementary in Brentwood, Tennessee. She returned to her love of selling real estate in the late 90s, and continued with that career until she recently retired.

Now that Margie has passed into the arms of our Lord, we should remind ourselves that while this is the end of Margie's physical life on Earth, it’s the beginning of an eternal and beautiful journey for her. Margie joins her parents, Ernest & Evelyn Lunsford, and Kim's future fiance, Tony Wesley in Heaven. She is survived by many loving family members: her brother, Steve  (Caroline) Lunsford of Knoxville; sister, Nancy (Ray) Rose of Pulaski; daughters Kim Lusky of Spring Hill & Julie (Steve) Taylor of Brentwood; son, David (Heather) Lusky of Columbia. She is survived by her grandchildren: Conner, Anastin, Brynleigh and Selah Hall and Chloe Lusky. She is also survived by her niece and nephews and many great nieces and nephews, as well as many friends.

“I lift my eyes to the hills. From where does my help come? My help comes from the Lord, who made heaven and earth” - Psalm 121:1-2

Final arrangements will be made available at a later date.
